Ok so now we've said we would write this i guess you guys would
like to know what i've been doing. So in the morning i got up late and dad was slightly angry at me for not collecting the eggs from the chooks yesterday (mum you'll be happy to know that libby is laying and we have 3 full cartons of eggs) but eventualy I got round to packing. Packing made it all feel so real and I started to feel nervous. But a nice shower later I felt fine. We then took the dog for a walk. D
ad and I admired the lovely flowers but were upset that Mum and Grant had all but our really old silver camera. Dad, if you don't know has gotten into photography but it's been all theory because there's been not camera, so hes been doing alot of reading (he's become an expert) ;). Once we got back we decided to put the old camera through it's paces. So here are 3 that i took. To get some of these I've been sneaking through people's front gardens so I hope you enjoy. After toying around with the pics on a photo editer programe we watched Fright Night. The movie wasn't that scary but if we watched it when it was dark it
would have been freaky. so now we've had warm pastry with chocolat in it and im about to turn in for the night we've sat down to write this to you. Enjoy the pics and good night.

OK, back to me (Spike). Yes, we thought this entry would be like a bouquet of flowers - all "picked" (virtually) from our garden. As Zoe said we took Jules for a
walk around lunchtime - down to the creek for her usual daily swim. As usual she gamboled along with us and had a great time fetching sticks from the water when we arrived at the creek. As part of the walk I gave us both a photo-composition exercise - to look about at the areas we were passing through and note anything that would make a good shot. Its funny how the simplest things are often the most beautiful - for instance a drop of water suspended in the air. In this instance it was t
he fields of daisies - a patchwork of little yellow flowers all down past the school. That made me resolve to get the old Pentax point-n-shoot (3MP Optio 330GS) out and take some snaps - just try some things. Arriving back at the front yard though we found a mini-garden of colour - it was just there "for the looking". So here in this entry are three compositions from each of us; for the two members not here.

hey its Zoe im soo nervous and excited just telling you that dad pics are on the right and mine are on the left. hope you enjoyed the pictures.
